So, I’ve already admitted that I have Gamer Distraction Syndrome. I’m a gaming butterfly. I’m a Libra. I’m on TGN too much. Etc, etc, and other excuses why I go from game to game.
I have a problem, and it manifests itself in the piles and piles of metal, plastic and resin miniatures that you can find on shelves, in boxes and even strewn across the floor around my room. I think my wife shudders everytime she passes by.
Anyway, I do have some will power when it comes to buying into new systems, though. Not much, but some. And so this new ‘series’ of posts, Miniature Temptations, is where I’m going to discuss some of the games that have caught my attention. Things like Flames of War, Dystopian Wars, Hell Dorado, etc. I’ll talk about why I like them, why I want to play them, as well as what’s stopping me from putting hundreds of hard-earned cash into them.
I should probably also list the games that I have bought into. I’ll have to come up with another name for that series. Miniature Bankrupters, maybe? 🙂
Anyway, look for these posts in the near future. If I can tear myself away from the piles of unfinished stuff I’m working on, off and on.
